The Meta-Problem

I am studying data visualization techniques, because I want to find out how data can be better represented visually and interactively, in order to develop web based data tools and techniques which help ordinary users infer broader patterns and deeper meaning from large datasets.

A Practical Application

To provide a data basis for this project, I’m studying digital music consumption patterns, with the goal of finding out how new technologies are shaping the modern listening experience, in order to help my reader better predict the emerging technologies which are most relevant to artists and the music industry.
